Dikko Faust makes patterns inspired by traditional tiling, bricklaying, weaving, and geometric abstraction from as far back as 90,000 BC for their Tessellation Postcard and Print series. Faust relief prints movable typographic elements that he makes by sawing down wood dowels and square moldings, which he combines to create intricate patterns also including existing metal type ornaments. Faust has completed ten of the series of twelve. This subscription series includes both prints and postcards.
