Box it Up! Clamshell Boxes and Slipcovers
September 15 - September 17
Friday-Sunday, September 15-17, 10am-4pm
Boxes can offer excellent storage protection as well as a decorative enclosure for books, collections of prints, etc. In this three-day workshop, we will begin by assembling and covering a model from board and create a simple slipcase box. For the remainder of the session, participants will build their own custom clam-shell box designed to fit a particular book(s), stack of prints, or object. Bookbinding I is a prerequisite for this class.
