Color Field Monoprints
March 4, Sunday, 10 pm-4 pm
***CLASS IS FULL***
In this one-day workshop, students will become skilled printmakers using one of the most painterly mediums in relief printing. Monoprint—a method first advanced as a serious art form by Edgar Degas—is one of the favorites of contemporary artists for the expressive possibilities it embodies.
Using plastic plates and inks, students will learn to mix and build up inks to adapt and extend a single plate, through multiple on-press interventions.
No experience or additional materials are required for this class.
Tuition: $150 members / $175 non-members. Become a member.
