Editions (Letterpress 1 B)
April 10 - May 8
April 10 – May 8, 5 Tuesday Nights, 6 pm – 9 pm
Following a short review of press operation and printing techniques, we will raise your printing skills to the next level. What methods can you use to combine text and image? How do you improve your printing results? How do you complete a project involving multiple parts?
This class is designed to support students who have taken a letterpress class and want to work on their own projects in a structured and supportive environment. Students interested in producing a edition of posters or prints, a suite of invitations or other printed stationary, or other projects, will be assisted along the way in troubleshooting their inking, impression, and finishing skills.
Letterpress I, part of our Core Curriculum and taught by our Core Instructors, is now offered in two parts: Letterpress I (A) and Letterpress I (B). Taking both A and B is equivalent to taking our Letterpress I (A+B) section and, along with Renter Training, will qualify you for unlimited access to our facility and equipment, as well as providing a great foundation in letterpress printing for those beginning professional or artistic careers in letterpress.
