April 7 - April 9
April 7-9, Friday – Sunday, 10am-4pm
In this 18-hour weekend letterpress class, students will focus on transforming their designs and ideas into handmade photopolymer plates and printing on the Center’s Vandercooks. Class will focus on creating imagery by hand and through digital files to convert to plates. Through out the weekend we will work together to trouble-shoot your designs and the proper printing of the plates. We will cover good presswork including the basics of printing as well as dealing with tight registration and multiple color runs. You will be able to create over this weekend personal projects that range from basic invitations, to business cards or posters! Most materials included with registration, just bring a pencil & notebook, and $15 for the polymer plates.
No print experience necessary.
