Please join us for special opening receptions for new exhibitions, broadside poetry readings, artists' talks, round table discussions, lectures, and professional development workshops.
Members receive a discount on all public programs. Opening receptions and open houses are free.

Ivry Studio Buckshot Weights Sewing Bee

Judith Ivry and Jayne Hillam , two New York City bookbinders and conservators began making these soft, squishy, round and HEAVY leather weights for themselves. Once you've tried sewing with one, you may never use anything else! Simple and cute, but labor-intensive, Judy and Jayne will pre-cut the leather and hot stamp it with bookbinding tool images. We will each stitch up and stuff two weights, sewing bee style. Refreshments will be served. Please call the Center to RSVP- space is limited.
$40 members/ $50 non-members
