Heidi Reszies is a poet and visual artist. Her recent work explores fragments of language and image and the opening that occurs at their interstices and/or instances of overlapping.
Her visual art encompasses work in a variety of media, including painting, mixed media/collage, artist books, textiles, photography, and printmaking—it is represented in CLARA: the National Museum of Women in the Arts Database of Women Artists, and included in private collections throughout the United States.
Heidi was a 2015 James Merrill Poetry Fellow at the Vermont Studio Center, and her poetry and poetics have appeared or are forthcoming in BOAAT Journal, FORTH Magazine, LEVELER, La Vague Journal, The Volta, and Forklift, Ohio. She currently serves as Design Director and Chapbook Series Editor at H_NGM_N Books, an online journal and small press, and is the founding editor of Artifact Press, where she publishes limited edition poetry chapbooks and pamphlets that are typeset by hand and letterpress printed using an antique Kelsey platen press and Challenge proof press.
