2015 Summer Appeal
The Center for Book Arts

Dear Friend of the Center for Book Arts,
The Center for Book Arts continues its 40th Anniversary year celebration until September and the Center is maintaining a vigorous series of exhibitions, classes, and events. Thanks to your support, we have reached forty years. In order to continue to fulfill our mission, we need your help!
The Center’s operating costs in all areas keep rising. We have met these costs, but last year our commercial co-op building performed emergency repairs which resulted in three assessments totalling more than $30,000 in unplanned fees. We continue to offer our programs without reducing services but meeting the emergency assessments have proven to be a daunting challenge.
In response to this challenge, the Center’s Board of Directors has taken a leadership role by offering to match dollar-for-dollar your contribution to this special appeal. When you give $100, the Board will match your gift, thereby doubling your contribution. The Board has already pledged $20,000 to the Summer Appeal match. A successful Summer Appeal would realize the full $40,000 needed to close-out our 40th anniversary year in a strong financial position.
Help us match the Board’s generous pledge by being a “match maker.” Your contribution will ensure that the Center continues to offer innovative programs that shall flourish for 40 more years.
Just click the “Donate Now” button below, call 481-0295, or print out and mail in the Summer Appeal Reply Card. Please respond by September 7. Every contribution makes a difference!
Thank you for your generosity.
