About the Workshop:
This in-person class at Center for Book Arts is taught by instructor Mirko Velimirovic.

Students will learn how to hand draw their ornaments and later digitize them using the Glyphs software app. Students will also learn how to make a font out of their original ornaments. By the end of the class, there will be time for students to have their work reviewed and consulted by other students and the instructor.
This class will also include further readings, additional content and homework assignments for students to practice what they’ve learned and to further students’ understanding of concepts.
Required Materials:
- a laptop with access to Adobe Illustrator
- Glyphs license (offers 30 day free trial)
