This five-day, in-person workshop takes place at CBA on October 18, 25, November 1, 8 and 15 from 6-9pm.

About the Workshop:

Design and print your wedding invitation, birth announcement, or special event with a professional who has produced invitations for over 20 years. Develop your design in consultation and print it yourself on our Vandercook Letterpress, using metal and wood type incorporating your own artwork. 

No printing or design experience is necessary, only the willingness to have fun and get a little inky!

This in-person class at Center for Book Arts is taught by instructor Roni Gross.

• Students will need to purchase the materials for their invitations once they decide what they want to use (all proofing materials and inks are provided)
• You can participate in a brief Zoom meeting with the instructor two weeks before the class begins to discuss design and material needs for this workshop. 

All other materials will be provided by Center for Book Arts at no additional cost.

About Roni Gross

Roni Gross is a book artist whose work is in the collections of The Library of Congress, Harvard, Yale, and many other public and private collections. She runs Z’roah Press which produces limited edition sculptural books.

Gross has been an instructor at Center for Book Arts teaching letterpress technique and much more for a number of years. In 2019 she initiated the Book Talk series that continues to feature a diverse range of artists and scholars.
