Projective Tests in Simple Book Structures
May 19, 2018 - May 20, 2018
May 19-20, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am-4 pm
Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, sought to explain human behavior with his controversial theories. In his therapy, Freud derived clues from his patient’s dreams and slips of the tongue to reveal their unconscious motivations, however some Freudians became interested in projective tests such as Rorschach or inkblot tests. In this workshop, you will create a series of pressure prints based off of an inkblot image you will receive and interpret however you want. You will then use your prints to make a simple book structure, such as an accordion or drum leaf, and share your personal narrative with the class. No experience required.
Tuition: $325 members / $350 non-members. Become a member.
