Opulence: Not Everything that Glitters is Gold

OPULENCE: NOT EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS IS GOLD (2018) Center for Book Arts

Organized by Alexander Campos.

Our 2018 Artist Members Exhibition, featuring artist members as well as invited artists, focuses on artworks that look behind the velvet curtain, in particular at our current economic, conflict, political, health, urbanization, ecological, indulgence and language issues/concerns. Oxymoron, contradiction, and irony are key to these playful works that have multiple layers of meaning and interpretations.
