Margarita Athanasiou

Margarita Athanasiou is an artist and organizer based in Athens, Greece. She is a digital collagist working with the mediums of video and print while a big part of her practice revolves around artist publishing. The work explores female and queer histories, and memes as expansive publishing. Athanasiou is the founding director of the Athens Art Book Fair, an artist-run organization aiming to support and empower her community in Athens.
