Release of Liability
Bookbinding and Printing equipment is potentially dangerous. No one should use any equipment or tools without proper training. In the event of an accident, the undersigned agrees to hold harmless the Center for Book Arts, its administration, the Board of Directors, staff and teachers.
Anyone who is pregnant should be aware of the Print Shop solvents that may be potentially dangerous during pregnancy, and should consult with a doctor before enrolling in an in-person class.
Cancellation Policy
Fixed-rate classes: If you cancel your registration at least two weeks (or 10 business days) before the first class meeting we will refund your tuition balance, or we will credit you the full value of the class toward a future class at the Center. If you cancel less than two weeks prior to the first class meeting or drop out of a class in progress, the full tuition paid will no longer be refundable and instead will be considered a donation to the Center.
Pay-what-you-can classes: Because the price of these workshops is suggested, the monetary amount you decide to contribute will not be eligible for refund regardless of the time at which you must cancel your registration. If the instructor allows recording of their class, you will still receive a copy of the recording even if you are unable to attend the workshop.
