Caroline Wood

Caroline Wood is an artist and educator with experience in museum education and arts administration. Previously, she has worked in Education and Visitor Engagement at the International Center of Photography, MoMA PS1, and the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Caroline is passionate about community engagement, outreach, and expanding access to arts education.
Caroline holds an MFA (Photography) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in History and Studio Art from St. Olaf College. Her work, encompassing book arts, letterpress, and photography, is in the collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and the Joan Flasch Artists’ Book Collection. In 2019, she received the Caxton Club Grant for Book Arts and Book-Related Studies and participated in the Museum Education Graduate Scholars’ Program, a collaboration between SAIC and the Art Institute of Chicago.
Outside of work, Caroline can be found biking around the city, taking care of her many houseplants, going for long walks, reading, and making new recipes.
