Julia Weist

Julia Weist is an artist and author living in New York.

She earned a BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art and a Masters of Library Science from Pratt Institute.

Weist’s work is in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Brooklyn Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art among other collections.

In 2019 she was named Public Artist in Residence for New York City’s Department of Records and Information Services.
