Katy Nelson

Katy Nelson is an independent book designer, type designer, and writer based in Brooklyn, New York. Collaborating with publishers, editors, curators, and artists, she designs and produces illustrated books. Her work is informed by ongoing research into the material history of the book, which she currently pursues at the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture.
