“First time in Whitney Museum, I was taken away by these beauties on 8/F terrace. They were colossal cement-gray columns, which I presumed to be some kind of sculpture. However, there wasn’t any white little papar nearby. It took me on ‘what is it’ and ‘why is it here’ journey. Later I discovered that they are not ‘art’, instead, just chimneys for the building HVAC system. But their beauty touched me deeply.”
