About the Workshop:

This in-person workshop is taught by CBA Instructor Roni Gross.

Is there a project that you would love to print, but are unsure about how to get started? Under the guidance of your instructor, your ideas can turn into a fun project that you can be proud of having produced.

This class will help you understand how to deal with technical issues, how to choose the paper that will do what you want structurally, what the order of operations is, and how to utilize letterpress printing to the best advantage. In order to take this workshop, participants must have already completed Letterpress 1 and have a basic understanding of how to operate the letterpress.

Fun Fact: Letterpress printing has recently had a rebirth in popularity due to the allure of hand-set type and the wonderful textures it creates.

Required Materials:

  • CBA will provide basic press maintenance and proofing materials.
  • Participants are responsible for specialized materials for their own projects.
