About the Workshop:
Led by artist and Instructor Nubia Navarro, workshop participants will spend three hours creating a 100% digital piece they can share on social media or print. Students will learn how to create retro compositions for personal or professional design projects.
Each participant will use their favorite city as aesthetic inspiration to hand-design a small text-based composition using Procreate. Afterward, students will learn how to polish their work digitally. Navarro will cover hand lettering basics, composition techniques, and digital refinement. Nubia will teach you how to create interesting layouts with one of the brush packs created by her previously (test pack included in the workshop).

• About different sketching techniques
• How to create concept and a moodboard for your project
• To conceptualize interesting retro layouts inspired in road signs
• How to sketch and select the best option for your project
• To use different letter styles according to your concept
