Event Info

This class will take place on:

  • Wed, July 7th 6:00–8:00pm ET

This is the first part of an evening series of standalone classes to be held virtually throughout the summer.

Each class will begin with instruction of how to create something artist Paula Krieg has been enchanted by. Students will make their own version of what was taught. In this first class, students will be making what Paula calls the Cracker Jacks Card, since she discovered this structure in a Cracker Jacks box. It’s a simple, ingenious pop-up where a surprise emerges from a box in the center of the card.

Required Materials

  • Four to six pieces of cover weight paper (such as Springhill digital vellum bristol white cover, 67 lb)
  • Cutting tools
  • Glue of choice
  • For embellishment: bits of colored paper, colored pencils, markers and any collage materials are welcomed.
