The CBAA Scholarship Fund is dedicated to providing financial support for individuals wishing to learn more about the book arts. CBA will award scholarships covering up to $200 for one course per individual, for ten or more applicants in 2023. Awardees are selected based on financial need. Please fill out and submit the following form, providing contact information, a brief statement of financial need, indication of CBAA membership*, and optional demographic information, at least 3 weeks before the start date of the workshop to be considered for financial assistance.
Applicants will be notified at least 1 week before the workshop begins regarding whether or not the application has been approved. Applicants who are awarded financial aid will be able to register for the workshop at a discounted rate.

About the CBAA Scholarship Fund
The College Book Art Association is committed to supporting artists looking to continue their book arts learning, as well as a broader audience of book artists operating outside of the academic learning system.
This year, with the help of CBAA, Center for Book Arts will award scholarships covering tuition up to $200 to applicants in 2023 wishing to further their book arts practice. Scholarships will be awarded based on demonstrated need as funds are available.

The selected curatorial projects will be given access to the Center’s resources such as the archive and collection artworks, as well as administrative support during the curation process. In addition, the curator will be awarded a $3,000 honorarium; an honoraria budget to divide amongst program speakers; and a budget for production, including an exhibition catalog.
