Adeola Eze

Adeola Eze is a second-phase postgraduate researcher in the Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities at Coventry University, England, with a research interest that critically assesses the discovery, preservation, reception, and reuse of ancient book formats in contemporary literature. Her research, ‘The Reception of Ancient Book Formats in Contemporary Literature,’ investigates the significance of ancient book formats before the printing press in facilitating a deeper understanding of the dynamic relationship between historical contexts and contemporary literature. She examines the contemporary awareness of ancient book forms in literature and how these ancient materials and formats have affected contemporary literature and art. The research raises questions like: Are there contemporary writers experimenting with ancient book formats? If yes, how? What are they hinting at? How are scholars reinterpreting and interacting with ancient book formats?
