Alice Sherman Simpson

Since 1992, I’ve created more than two dozen Unique and Limited Edition artist books based upon my passion—Swing, Rumba, Hip-Hop, Tango, Dance Marathons, dances of the Elizabethan period, and most recently iconic figures of dance. With a lifetime of experience in drawing, painting and sculpting the figure, my hand-painted and limited edition books have been of interest to university and library dance collections as well as dance enthusiasts and have been purchased by more than forty international Rare Book collections. In 2015, Harper Collins published my debut novel BALLROOM, inspired by one of my early artist books.
