Dylan Lewis
Dylan Lewis is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Maryland where he studies book history, bibliography, print culture, queer media, and seventeenth- and eighteenth-century literature. He also works as a graduate instructor at UMD’s BookLab. His dissertation investigates the gendered, sexualized, and racialized history of type casting, typeface design, ornamentation, and typographic layout in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century print through a queer studies lens. He has presented his work on book history and bibliography both nationally and internationally, and has published with PBSA, SHARP News, and Early Modern Female Book Ownership.
