Hongyi Jiang

Bio

Hongyi Jiang is an artist from Changshu, China. She makes art as a way to question power relations and ideology in education, government, citizenship, and the experience of the self. She received a B.A. honors degree in Studio Art from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. In 2019, her works were exhibited at Ronna and Eric Hoffman Gallery of Contemporary Art (Portland, OR), Blackfish Gallery (Portland, OR), The Factory (Queens, NY) and 440 Gallery (Brooklyn, NY); she was also a Young-Artist-in-Residence at Salem Art Works (Salem, NY).

Hongyi Jiang was 2020 CBA Workspace Artist-in-Residence.
