Jane Beckwith is a printmaker, painter, photographer and art educator. Her art practice is focused on the ecology of agriculture and other environmental concerns. She holds an MFA in Painting and Art History, Pratt Institute, Brooklyn NY 1970 and an M.Ed. from Teachers College, Columbia University, NYC. As Associate Professor of Art and Associate Chair of the Art Department at St. Joseph’s College, she has taught studio art and art history courses since 2001.
She works between Brooklyn, New York and Italy, mainly Venice and Florence.
