Tega Brain
Tega Brain (AU) is an artist and environmental engineer working at the intersection of art, ecology, and technology. Guided by questions of how technology shapes ecology, her work addresses themes of intelligence, automation, agency and ecological imaginaries–how we imagine we can live together. She has created dysfunctional devices, eccentric infrastructures, and experimental information systems. Brain is an Assistant Professor of Integrated Design and Media at New York University and her work has been exhibited at biennales, triennials and at museums worldwide. Tega Brain lives and works in New York.
