Bahman Mohammadi

Bahman Mohammadi was born in 1985, Hamadan, Iran. Mohammadi’s works are focused on human-related matters such as birth, training, social constructions, and evolution and encourage the audiences to rethink and reconsider these topics. His work has been exhibited in more than 50 solo and group shows, nationally and internationally, including at The Museum of Contemporary Art, Tehran, (2006 & 2007), Etemad Gallery, Tehran, (2013) , Ethan Cohen Gallery, New York, (2013), Azad Gallery, Tehran, (2019), FIELD MEETING Take 6, Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE (2019), and Mah Art Gallery, Tehran (2014-2020) among many others. He was winner of the Seventh Iranian Painting Biennale prize in 2008 and received the special prize in Damoonfar Visual Arts Festival in 2006. Mohammadi is a member of the Society of Iranian Painters and currently lives and works in Tehran.
