What I said, What I thought is a whimsical look into the things we are all thinking but not say out loud. Jennifer Grimyser plays with language. Her creative practice emanates from the belief that language is so commonly manipulated that trust in the written word has been lost. In order to combat this norm, she morphs the common linguistic phrases into the playful jabs that are both tense and humorous.
