Please join us for Telephone Telephone #16, Monday, November 13 at 6:00pm, at Center for Book Arts, 28 W 27th St. This will be the third and final part of the A Book is a Brick program. We will be discussing artists’ networks and communications strategies enabled by the book form. This meeting will focus on the publications and writings of Temporary Services and Half Letter Press as an example of community building through print.
To further our goal of developing a printed and tangible result from these three meetings, we ask that you please bring, suggest, or send us a word (or image) that you think best sums up this ongoing discussion. We will gather these words into sentences and work together to organize our thoughts.
The reading for this week’s gathering will be a small collection of excerpts from interviews and writings from Temporary Services.
