Adaora Bandele

Adaora Bandele (b. 1984) is an herbalist, writer/poet, wholeness advocate, & Mama from Detroit. She is the co-founder of Sage Smoke, a collaborative healing neighborhood gathering & safe space for Brown folk. In 2006 She self published a chapbook of poems, Rock Star In Cuba Tion. Adaora’s healing work is informed by her hands-on herbal studies as well as intuition/Spirit, GreatGrandmothers, poets, & the hearts of the people. You can find her on the West Side burning resins while preparing herbal infusions & balms to nourish mind, body, & spirit.
