Motherhood 2021, cyanotype with letterpress and collagraph. Edition of 50.

Upon being invited to be a part of (S)mother in 2021, an exhibition addressing parenting, I wondered what had held me back from making work specifically about my experience as a mother. I made this artists book as a first attempt to grapple with what it has felt like to be a mother, addressing the joy and frustration, isolation and connection. The inside folds feature a collagraph made by my child when she was 7 years old.
