Mothers of Mothers of Mothers

Mothers of Mothers of Mothers by Rachel Hillery is a letterpress-printed artist book, designed and produced during the artist’s residency at Center for Book Arts (2019-2020). The rhythmic narrative is inspired by feminist texts from the 1980s and contemporary feminist philosophy to investigate matrilineal erasure, both artistic and familial.
