About the Workshop:

This in-person class at Center for Book Arts is taught by instructor Roni Gross. This workshop is for students who have taken Letterpress I (or have equivalent experience). This class covers more advanced letterpress techniques.

Participants will learn the tricks of the trade, including setting and printing type on press. Use the medium of letterpress to produce vibrant prints that utilize what this process does best. Play with color and typefaces, gaining proficiency and learning new skills.

In a structured and supportive learning environment, students will further refine their printing skills. Skills learned will include the best order of operations for executing a more advanced letterpress project, refining approaches to pressure and inking on letterpress, and learning the properties of different kinds of paper.

Class size is limited to ensure an optimal student-to-teacher ratio. Register now before the remaining spots fill up!
