About the Workshop:
This virtual class at Center for Book Arts is taught by instructor Shawn Sheehy
Have you ever paged through a pop-up book and wondered how it worked? Or wanted to make your own? Take one cool week out of your hot summer and come to Pop-Ups Summer Camp! In this four-day class, you will get a robust and lively introduction to paper engineering. You will explore the fundamental structures of the craft, you will experience engineering tools and materials, and you’ll enjoy looking at a heap of great pop-up books. Most importantly, you’ll create your own pop-ups. Gather up your curiosity, your creativity, your scissors and your glue sticks, and get ready for Pop-Up Summer Camp!
This workshop is perfect for the younger book artist in your life (intended for those 11 yrs old and up)! Class size is limited to ensure an optimal student-to-teacher ratio. Register now before the remaining spots fill up!
