From Kumi Korf’s exotic domed sculpture, Thousands to Scott McCarney’s wonderful trompe l’oeil alphabet book, these 18 books reflect visions not observed through a lens of a camera, but rather through the eye of the artist. Like the artists, the books are funny, bizarre, beautiful, sad, funky, happy, and provocative. This exhibit is sponsored by the Center for Book Arts which was founded in 1974 to promote and advance the art of the book by providing workspace, education, exhibit, and publications to artists and supporters of Book Arts.
