Mana Bugallo will be performing Letters of a Compass, organized by LAZO Collective

LAZO (in Spanish meaning ‘tie’ or ‘link’) is an art collective that brings together artists and related practitioners of Latin American & Caribbean descent to create participatory projects and exhibitions. LAZO’s members are Rodrigo MoreiraClaudia Cortínez, Mauricio Cortes Ortega, and Alva Mooses. On this occasion, LAZO will present an installation of projected images and textures, both analog and digital, activated by Mana Bugallo, an Argentine NYC-based poet, performer, singer and activist. Mana’s performances combine elements of spoken word and lyrical performative experimentation, blending poetry and music into narrative fragments that recall childhood memories, sexuality, and humorings on everyday life.
