Alejandra Montero Vargas

Alejandra was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. She studied arts and has been a cultural manager by profession. Since 2016 she has worked in the making of fanzines with the writerers and artists collective Casa Barullo, in 2017 she co-founded Papel Caliente, a fair that focusess in independent publishers. At the beginning of 2022, Alejandra inaugurated Casa Fuego, a cultural house which is now the base of Papel Caliente, being now a fair, and also a bookstore. She is passionate about community initiatives, biking and cooking.
