About the Workshop:

Join us for an exciting workshop that delves into the fascinating world of Duotone and Two-Color Riso Printing! This hands-on creative journey will take you through two distinct and captivating approaches to producing visually striking images using just two colors.

Discovering the Power of Layers:
In the first part of the workshop, we will explore the art of working with layers, a versatile technique that finds great application in collage and illustration. Through practical exercises you will learn how to expertly compose multi-layered images, allowing you to craft captivating visual narratives with depth and complexity.

The Allure of Duotone Photography:
The second phase of the workshop will immerse you in the captivating world of Duotone photography. Duotone involves the application of just two contrasting colors to create stunning and evocative photographic images. You will gain insights into the theory and aesthetics behind Duotone and learn how to use this technique to transform ordinary photographs into extraordinary works of art.

Each participant will walk away with 20 copies of their unique two-color print.

This workshop is part of a series, previous workshop attendance or some Riso knowledge is needed to participate.

Required Materials:

All materials will be provided by CBA. Participants will bring their laptops with adobe suite or other Image processing software.
