Brian Hannon
Brian Hannon is a writer, arts administrator, and curator. He has worked at The New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans. Mr. Hannon was the executive director of Center for Book Arts in New York from 1992 until 1997, and the executive director of the International Fine Print Dealers Association, also in New York, during the year 2000.
Mr. Hannon has organized over 25 exhibitions of contemporary art. He has written numerous curatorial essays and articles related to modern and contemporary art (particularly artists’ books), and has served on state panels that award fellowships to artists and writers. Mr. Hannon has two Master of Arts degrees, in English writing and arts administration, and has passed the required examination in Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice given by the Appraisers Association of America.
